Step into a universe where ancient myths meet modern mischief as celebrated children’s author Maz Evans takes centre stage at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Part of our family event series Telling Tales.
Maz will whisk you away on a wild ride through the worlds of gods, quests and laughter — sharing the stories behind her beloved sagas such as Who Let the Gods Out?, Simply the Quest, Beyond the Odyssey, Against All Gods, and her newer adventures (including Oh Maya Gods! and the ongoing Gods Squad tales). With her trademark humour, warmth and mythological flair, she’ll explore how classic myths can come alive in modern stories — full of heart, heroism and hilarity.
You’ll also have the chance to ask Maz your questions in a Q&A session. There will also be an opportunity to purchase books and have yours signed after the event.
